Bent wheel straightening with measured results
A bent alloy wheel can cause vibration, air loss, uneven tire wear, or a wheel that will not balance correctly. We inspect the wheel, measure runout, and determine whether straightening is appropriate before repair begins.
How we evaluate a bent wheel
We check the inner and outer barrel, runout, impact area, and surrounding structure. Straightening is performed with controlled pressure and heat management on our Nitromac RS30WL when the wheel is considered repairable.
What the service includes
Mounting and balancing are included with bent-wheel repairs unless your estimate says otherwise. A final inspection confirms the repair result before the wheel leaves the shop.
When replacement is safer
A wheel with unsafe cracking, major distortion, or damage near the hub or lug area may need replacement. Structural straightening carries no warranty because future road impacts and hidden material fatigue cannot be predicted.

We refuse unsafe repairs. Cracks in spokes, the wheel face, hub, or lug area require wheel replacement.
- Qualifying inner-barrel cracks are evaluated case by case.
- Bent, crack, and weld repairs carry no structural warranty.
- Hypersilver refinishing is sold as-is because exact matching and future adhesion cannot be guaranteed.
- Chrome face curb rash is not repairable; some chrome barrel damage may qualify after inspection.

Can every bent wheel be straightened?
No. Repairability depends on the location, severity, wheel design, and any related cracking. We will recommend replacement when repair is unsafe.
Do you straighten wheels on the vehicle?
No. All work is performed at our Franklinton shop using dedicated wheel equipment.
What should I send for an estimate?
Text photos of the full wheel, close-ups of the damaged area, the wheel size, and a short description of the vibration or air-loss concern.
