Cracked wheel repair starts with the crack location
A crack is not automatically repairable. We evaluate where the crack is located, what caused it, and whether the surrounding wheel structure remains suitable for repair.
Cracks we may evaluate
Some cracks on the inner barrel may qualify for welding after inspection. The tire is removed so the full damaged area can be examined before a repair decision is made.
Cracks we will not weld
We do not weld cracks in spokes, the wheel face, hub pad, or lug area. Those locations carry critical vehicle loads, so replacement is the safe recommendation.
Structural repair limits
Crack and weld repairs carry no structural warranty. We explain the limitation clearly before work and refuse repairs that do not meet our safety standard.

We refuse unsafe repairs. Cracks in spokes, the wheel face, hub, or lug area require wheel replacement.
- Qualifying inner-barrel cracks are evaluated case by case.
- Bent, crack, and weld repairs carry no structural warranty.
- Hypersilver refinishing is sold as-is because exact matching and future adhesion cannot be guaranteed.
- Chrome face curb rash is not repairable; some chrome barrel damage may qualify after inspection.

Can you tell from one photo if a crack is safe to weld?
A photo can help with an initial opinion, but final eligibility requires an in-shop inspection with the tire removed when necessary.
Can you repair a crack on a spoke?
No. A spoke, face, hub, or lug-area crack requires wheel replacement.
Do crack repairs include balancing?
Mounting and balancing are included with qualifying crack repairs unless your estimate states otherwise.
