CNC refinishing for machined-face wheels
Machined wheels have fine cutting lines across the aluminum face. Paint alone cannot reproduce that appearance. Our process prepares the wheel, refinishes the pockets when required, machines the face, and applies the specified protective finish.
Identify the finish
We confirm that the wheel is a true machined-face design and inspect the face for gouges, prior machining, corrosion, and structural damage.
Prepare and machine
The wheel is prepared for the selected finish, then the face is cut on a CNC wheel lathe to restore the machined appearance within safe material limits.
Protect the surface
The refinished face receives a compatible clear or coating system. Final appearance can vary with the original casting, previous repairs, and remaining material.
Repair policy
Some wheels should
not be repaired.
We refuse unsafe repairs. Cracks in spokes, the wheel face, hub, or lug area require wheel replacement.
- Qualifying inner-barrel cracks are evaluated case by case.
- Bent, crack, and weld repairs carry no structural warranty.
- Hypersilver refinishing is sold as-is because exact matching and future adhesion cannot be guaranteed.
- Chrome face curb rash is not repairable; some chrome barrel damage may qualify after inspection.

Can every machined wheel be cut again?
No. Prior machining, deep damage, wheel design, and remaining material determine whether another cut is appropriate.
Do you machine a wheel after straightening it?
No. Our shop standard is not to machine wheels after straightening.
Why is CNC refinishing different from paint?
The bright face is created by a controlled cutting process. Paint does not reproduce the original machined lines.
